Despite the snow, we had Mom, Dad, Dave, Les, and Kids over for Xmas dinner. I was lazy & didn't take many pictures. Here are Simon and Dad.

Hike up Multnomah Falls

This first one is looking over the falls, about 500 feet down. If you blow it up and look in the extreme lower right corner, you can see where the 2nd pic. is taken from.

This view is 69 ft. down from the bridge. It was pretty cold today, but I was so bundled up I got overheated on the way up. Blow this one up and gaze into that frigid green pool.

In about 1968, a Japanese student fell from the right side of this picture into the pool during the summer, suffering only minor injuries. Our family went to the Falls a week later, and you could still see skid marks down the mossy area just above the last dropoff.

Peter finishes his MS!

I finished my MS yesterday, and Randy and Nancy came over to celebrate with wine and cheese and presents (they really should'nt have!). Then we went to dinner at Belly on MLK. It was lots of fun. I feel like someone who just retired because I'll have so much more free time now.
